Walgreens clinics sign deal with Epocrates

More news on the Walgreens front: With its new walk-in Take Care Health Clinics in many stores in Central Florida and across the nation, most stores will begin using Epocrates Online Premium, which provides access to online clinical information. Take Care Health Systems, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Walgreens, signed a multiyear agreement last month for the clinical information provider. Walgreens clinics in Orlando can now use the Web-based drug and formulary reference to access information regarding drugs, dosing, patient education and health plan coverage.
