This educational tool assists the user in implementing the new NIH asthma guidelines published in the fall of 2007. These guidelines feature a stepwise approach to management based on 3 patient age categories. There are different algorithms for (1) classifying asthma severity and initiating therapy and (2) assessing asthma control and adjusting therapy.
