Do you need to install Epocrates Premium to your Palm Pre or Pixi?

How to install Epocrates on your Palm webOS device (Pre, Pixi):
- Open your Launcher (the icon with the arrow) and select the App Catalog.
- Within the App Catalog, do a search for Epocrates.
- Tap on the line that displays Epocrates and then select Install to install the free App.
- Once Epocrates has installed, tap on it to open the application.
- Enter your Epocrates username and password.
- Accept the License Agreement.
How to install Epocrates on your Palm:
- Ensure your device is connected to your pc via the sync cable or cradle.
- Visit www.epocrates.com and click on the "My Account" in the top right.
- Sign in with your Epocrates username, if needed.
- Click the "Download" button.
- Continue until you see the "Installation Options" page. Use the "Cable Install" option and click the "Continue" button.
- At the "Download and Installation" page, click the red " Begin Download" button and follow the on-screen instructions.

Epocrates Essentials Deluxe for Palm Requirements:
- Palm OS
Palm or Sony with PalmŪ OS v5.0 or higher - Not compatible with Palm Pre
- Computer (for syncing)
- Windows 2000/XP/Vista with Palm Desktop 3.1 or higher
- Mac OS X 10.3+ with Palm Desktop 4.0.1 or higher
- Minimum available memory

How to determine amount of free memory - Expansion (memory) cards
Any Secure Digital (SD), MultiMediaCard (MMC) or Mini-SD that is 8 MB or larger - Important notes:
- *14 MB of Epocrates Essentials Deluxe can be installed to supported expansion (memory) cards.
- If you have a device with Palm's new Non Volatile File System (NVFS), note that the amount of memory required on your device is about 33% larger than specified on this page. This is a known Palm issue. Devices currently with NVFS are the Tungsten T5, Treo 650, and LifeDrive.
- 16 MB devices without an expansion card are not fully supported for Epocrates Essentials Deluxe.
- Epocrates Essentials Deluxe cannot be installed to computers with 64-bit processors.
