Epocrates provides comprehensive, balanced and competitive benefits designed to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
Medical
Epocrates offers eligible employees a choice between Blue Shield HMO/PPO or Kaiser. Depending on your choice of plan, coverage is provided at little to no cost for the employee and a reasonable cost to the employee for dependent coverage.
Dental
Epocrates dental plan, administered through Premier Access, allows employees and their dependents to choose from a large network of dentists. Coverage for employees and dependents is provided at no additional cost.
Vision
Epocrates offers the Vision Service Plan (VSP) to all eligible employees and their dependents at no additional cost.
Disability and Life Insurance
Epocrates provides short-term and long-term disability, which will cover 60% of the base salary in the event of an applicable claim. We also provide all employees with a life insurance policy equivalent to 100% of annual salary at no charge to the employee.
