Peter C. Brandt
Peter brings more than 30 years of healthcare experience to Epocrates. He joined the Epocrates board of directors in February 2011. He recently held the position of President and CEO of Noven Pharmaceuticals, Inc. He currently serves on the board of directors for Rexahn Pharmaceuticals, Auxilium Pharmaceuticals and the Population Council. Peter holds an M.B.A in finance and accounting at Columbia University and a B.A. in economics and marketing from the University of Connecticut.
Dr. Philippe O. Chambon
Philippe O. Chambon has served on the Epocrates board of directors since August 2000. Since July 2005, Dr. Chambon has served as a Managing Director of New Leaf Venture Partners, a venture capital firm spun off from Sprout Group, the venture capital affiliate of Credit Suisse First Boston. Dr. Chambon holds an M.D. and a Ph.D. from the University of Paris and an M.B.A. from Columbia University. Dr. Chambon also serves as a director of Auxilium Pharmaceuticals, Inc., NxStage Medical, Inc. and several private biotechnology companies.
Gary Greenfield
Gary G. Greenfield joined the Epocrates board of directors in August 2011. Gary has multidisciplinary experience leading high technology companies and currently serves as chairman and chief executive officer of Avid, a technology leader behind the most listened to, most watched and most loved movies, music and TV shows in the world. Prior to joining Avid, he served as CEO of GXS, Inc. and CEO of Peregrine Systems, Inc. Gary holds a B.S. from the U.S. Naval Academy, an M.S.A. from George Washington University, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. He also serves as a director of Vocus, Inc. and GXS, Inc.
Thomas L. Harrison
Thomas L. Harrison has served on the Epocrates board of directors since January 2002. Thomas has served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Diversified Agency Services division of Omnicom Group, Inc., an advertising and marketing company, since May 1998. Thomas holds an M.S. in cell biology and physiology from West Virginia University. He also serves as a director of The Morgan's Hotel Group.
Patrick S. Jones
Patrick S. Jones joined the Epocrates board of directors in October 2005. Pat has been a private financial consultant since March 2001. Pat holds a B.A. from the University of Illinois and an M.B.A. from St. Louis University. He also serves as Chairman of the Board of Lattice Semiconductor, Inc. and served as a director of Genesys SA and several private companies.
Erick Tseng
Erick Tseng joined the Epocrates board of directors in August 2011. He has a proven track record of mobile innovation and expertise in user engagement, as well as a passion for digital health care. He currently serves as Head of Mobile Products at Facebook, where he helps drive innovation for the world's largest social networking community. Previously, he was a Lead Product Manager at Google where he was responsible for the development and launch of Android, Google's open-source mobile operating system. He has also held positions at McKinsey & Company, Microsoft and Yahoo. Erick holds a B.S. and MEng from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business.
Mark A. Wan
Mark A. Wan has served on the Epocrates board of directors since September 1999. Mark has been a partner of Three Arch Partners, a venture capital firm, since 1993. He holds a B.A. and a B.S. from Yale University and an M.B.A. from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business. He has served on the boards of many private and public medical companies.
