Biopsy

This 8-page color brochure from the CDC encourages everyone to get tested for HIV, describing how 1 in 5 may have it and not know it. Therapeutic Procedures
The National Cancer Institute's 2-pg fact sheet on external beam radiation therapy explains the steps involved during this common cancer treatment, encourages patients to ask their clinician about potential side effects, and assuages patients' possible concerns about pain and/or radioactivity. Information on treatment duration, preparatory and follow-up tests and procedures, and what to wear during treatment are also included.
