Adding MedTools

You need to have the most recent version of Epocrates Rx free drug reference, Epocrates Rx Pro premium drug reference or Epocrates Essentials all-in-one reference to install Epocrates MedTools applications. Please see each individual MedTools page for memory requirements and compatibility.

1. Click on 'Available Applications' at the top of this page.
2. Select a MedTools application to view information about it.
3. If you wish to add the MedTools application to your Epocrates application, click on the "Download" button for the version that's compatible with your hardware.
4. Save the file to your desktop.
5. Locate the file on your desktop and double click on it.
6. Follow on-screen instructions to install the application.
7. Once installed, MedTools applications are conveniently located under the 'black bag' tab in the Epocrates application.

Using MedTools

MedTools applications are conveniently located under the 'black bag' tab in the Epocrates application.

Simply tap on a MedTools application icon to launch the application.

Deleting MedTools

1. Open your Epocrates application.
2. Tap on the MedTools tab (black bag).
3. Palm OS: Tap the blue 'e' in the upper left corner. Tap "App" and then "Delete MTA".
   Windows Mobile OS: Tap "App" in the lower left corner and then "Delete MedTool".
4. Select the MedTools applications you wish to delete (by tapping on them), and then tap "Delete".
5. Tap "Done".
