Kenneth A. Bauer, M.D.
Kenneth A. Bauer, MD, is Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, as well as Chief of the Hematology Section at VA Boston Healthcare System and Director of Thrombosis Clinical Research at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Bauer previously served as Chairman of Council of the International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH) and is Vice-President and Scientific Program Chair (Clinical Sciences) for the XXIInd ISTH Congress. Dr. Bauer was a recipient of an Established Investigator Award from the American Heart Association, and he is a member of the American Society of Hematology. Dr. Bauer has published more than 200 original articles and book chapters and serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Thrombosis and Haemostasis and Blood Coagulation and Fibrinolysis.
