Michael Camilleri, M.D.
Michael Camilleri, MD, is Professor of Medicine and Physiology and director of the Clinical Enteric Neuroscience Translational and Epidemiological Research Center at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He is president-elect of the American Neurogastroenterology and Motility Society (ANMS), having served on its Governing Board from 1996 to 2000 and as chair of its Clinical Practice Section from 1997 to 1998. The recipient of numerous awards, Dr. Camilleri is the first or senior author of more than 300 articles and has co-authored 3 books. He has also served as associate editor of Gastroenterology, and as editor of Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology and Neurogastroenterology and Motility.
