Perry G. Fine, M.D.

Perry G. Fine, MD, is Professor of Anesthesiology at the University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dr. Fine has received the John and Emma Bonica Public Service Award from the American Pain Society, the Josefina Magno Founders Award for Leadership in Hospice and Palliative Care from Capital Hospice in Washington, DC, and the Distinguished Hospice Physician Award from the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Dr. Fine currently serves on the board of directors for the American Pain Foundation, and he chaired the Scientific Program Committee of the American Academy of Pain Medicine in 2008-2009. Dr. Fine serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Musculoskeletal Pain and the Journal of Pain & Palliative Care Pharmacotherapy, and he is an associate editor for the Journal of Pain and Symptom Management, Pain Medicine, and the electronic publication PC-FACS.
