Adelaide Robb, M.D.
Adelaide Robb, MD, is an Associate Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Pediatrics at Children’s National Medical Center and at George Washington University. She is medical director of the Inpatient Psychiatry Service at Children’s National Medical Center. She has published widely on adolescent psychiatric issues and is conducting studies on pediatric depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, post-traumatic stress disorder, and autism. Dr. Robb received a Young Investigator Award from the National Alliance for Research on Schizophrenia and Depression, for her work on levothyroxine as a treatment for anorexia nervosa. She is an active member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and is on the Professional Advisory Board for CHADD (Children and Adults with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder). She is on the editorial board of the Journal of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and is a reviewer for several other journals.
