Stuart Silverman, M.D., FACP, FACR
Stuart Silverman, MD, is an attending physician in the Division of Rheumatology at Cedars
Sinai, where he has served as director of the Fibromyalgia Rehabilitation Program. He is a clinical professor of medicine and rheumatology at UCLA and at Cedars-Sinai. Formerly, he was Chief of Rheumatology at the West Los Angeles VA Medical Center. Dr. Silverman is internationally known for his work in fibromyalgia and osteoporosis and lectures worldwide on these subjects. He has published over 80 peer-reviewed articles, 50 book chapters and reviews, and over 100 abstracts in rheumatology. He is medical director of the OMC Clinical Research Center, a nonprofit clinical research center, and has served as medical editor for Fibromyalgia Aware, a national magazine for patients with fibromyalgia. Dr. Silverman is board-certified in rheumatology, internal medicine, and allergy-immunology. He is a fellow of the American College of Rheumatology and the American College of Physicians. A graduate of Princeton University and Johns Hopkins Medical School, he completed his fellowship in rheumatology at Boston University Medical Center.
