Stuart Silverman, M.D., FACP, FACR
Stuart Silverman, MD, is an attending rheumatologist in the rheumatology division at Cedars-Sinai. He is a clinical professor of medicine and rheumatology at UCLA. He has served as director of the fibromyalgia rehabilitation program in the department of physical medicine at Cedars. He is former chief of rheumatology at West Los Angeles VA Medical Center.
Dr. Silverman is internationally known for his work in fibromyalgia and osteoporosis. He has published over 50 peer reviewed articles in rheumatology, 15 book chapters and over 100 abstracts. Dr Silverman lectures worldwide on fibromyalgia and osteoporosis.
He is medical director of a nonprofit clinical research center, the OMC Clinical Research Center, and has served as medical editor for Fibromyalgia Aware, a national magazine for patients with Fibromyalgia.
Dr Silverman is board certified in rheumatology, internal medicine and allergy-immunology. He is a fellow of the American College of Rheumatology and American College of Physicians.
A graduate of Princeton University and Johns Hopkins Medical School, he completed his fellowship in rheumatology at Boston University Medical Center.
