Use the Scrolling Look-Up Feature in Epocrates Online Free and Premium Web-Based Reference

The Epocrates Online web-based drug reference now includes the speedy scrolling drug look-up feature that customers have long enjoyed in our mobile references.

Simply start entering the drug name, and watch as the drug list looks for a match.

How?

1. Sign into Epocrates Online (if you are new to the product please accept the license agreement).
2. Click on the Drugs tab.
3. Click into the white box to the left of "Search" and start typing the name of the drug you want to find.
4. When you see it appear in the list above, click on the drug name to view the monograph.

Use the Two-Word Look-Up Feature in Epocrates Sx Symptom Assessment Tool

The Epocrates Sx symptom assessment tool (part of Epocrates SxDx and Epocrates Essentials mobile products) enables you to enter the first letters of two words to find a specific sign or symptom quickly.

How?
(Epocrates SxDx and Epocrates Essentials subscribers only)

1. Within your Epocrates application, tap on the Sx tab.
2. Choose a two-word sign or symptom to look up; for example, "abdominal pain."
3. In the look-up area, graffiti or enter the first TWO or more letters of the first word, then a space, then at least the first letter of the second word. For example, for abdominal pain, enter ab p.
4. You will see "abdominal pain" appearing in the symptom list.
5. To select a symptom, simply tap on it.
