Link from DocAlert messages to relevant information in the Epocrates application

We received several requests to be able to link from DocAlert messages to monographs, MobileCME articles, and MedTools applications. In an effort to help you save time and provide you more information at your finger tips, DocAlert messages now link to relevant information in our application.

How?

1. When you AutoUpdate (sync while connected to the Internet), look for DocAlert messages containing underlined content.
2. Tap on the underlined word or segment and it will take you directly to the relevant monograph, MobileCME article, or MedTool.

Easily navigate through the Epocrates application

Did you know that Epocrates premium references are intelligently linked to help you find information quickly as you diagnose and treat your patients?

How?

1. Within Epocrates Lab, look up any lab and tap into the Interpretation feature.
2. Tap on an underlined disease cause to take you to the related disease monograph in Epocrates Dx.
3. From the recommended medications for the same disease in Epocrates Dx, tap on the drug to view prescribing and safety information for the drug in Epocrates Rx or Epocrates Rx Pro .
4. Within the drug monograph in Epocrates Rx Pro, tap on any underlined dosage link in the Adult Dosing or Peds Dosing section and a weight-based dosing calculator will appear within the drug monograph.
5. Enter the dose amount, patient weight, dosage frequency, and (if applicable) the liquid concentration.
6. Tap "Calculate" when finished and the result will appear.
