Here are some tips to help you get the most out of the products and services that Epocrates offers.
Tip 1 – Set Your Default Units In MedMath
When using MedMath clinical calculators (available within all Epocrates mobile references), do you usually enter your values in the same unit systems, e.g. pounds rather than kilos? If so, you can save time by choosing your default units. After you have selected your default units, your preferred units will always display automatically (you still have the option to change them).
How?
Palm Users:
- Within your Epocrates application, tap on the ‘black bag’ tab and then on the MedMath icon
.
- Tap on the “MedMath” tab on the top left of the screen.
- Select “Options” and then “Preferences”.
- To select your default units, tap on the ‘down arrow’ symbol next to “Unit System”, “Height” and “Weight” and select your preferred units.
- Tap on “OK”.
Pocket PC users:

Tip 2 – Set Left Side Scrolling
