View Dosing Information For "Off-label" Drug Uses

The Epocrates Medical Information Editors are continually reviewing the medical literature and updating Epocrates' clinical references with the best-researched off-label indications.

You can view dosing for many off-label indications in the Epocrates Rx free mobile drug reference, Epocrates Rx Pro premium mobile drug reference, Epocrates Essentials all-in-one mobile reference, and Epocrates Rx Online web-based drug reference.

How?

Epocrates mobile software users:

1. Tap on the Rx tab within your Epocrates application and look up a drug.
2. Select "Adult Dosing" or "Peds Dosing" from the monograph menu.
3. Any off-label indications that are included will be listed after the on-label indications, and before renal and hepatic dosing. An off-label indication is signified with an asterisk, * (see example on the right).

Not currently using Epocrates mobile products?
Download the Epocrates Rx FREE drug reference to your Palm OS or Pocket PC OS mobile device to access this feature.

Epocrates Rx Online users:

1. Tap on the Drugs tab within the Epocrates Rx Online reference, and look up a drug.
2. Select "Adult Dosing" or "Peds Dosing" from the monograph menu.
3. Any off-label indications that are included will be listed after the on-label indications, and before renal and hepactic dosing. An off-label indication is signified with an asterisk, * (see example on the right).

Change Your Epocrates-Registered Email Address On Your Mobile Device

This new free feature, available in all of our mobile products*, enables you to update the email address you use for your Epocrates communications without going to the Epocrates website.

Note: To ensure that you receive the messaging you requested, we also recommend that you do NOT use a Hotmail.com or AOL.com email address.

How?

*To use this feature you need to have the latest version of Epocrates' mobile software. If, after following the instructions below, you do not see an option to "Update Email" on your application, please AutoUpdate (sync while connected to the Internet) to receive this feature. If you still don't see the feature after you have AutoUpdated, you have an older version of our software and may be missing several valuable new features. Please redownload/reinstall to receive the latest version of your Epocrates application for free.

Palm OS device users:

1. Launch the Epocrates application on your mobile device.
2. Tap on the e icon in the top left corner and then tap on "Options" and "Update Email ... ".
3. Your current registered email address will be displayed. If it is still correct, just tap "Cancel".
4. To use a different email address, enter your new address in the box provided (note that the @ symbol has already been provided for you) and tap "Save".
5. To send us your new address, please AutoUpdate (HotSync while connected to the Internet).

Pocket PC OS device users:

1. Launch the Epocrates application on your mobile device.
2. Tap on "Tools" on your navigation bar and then tap on "Update Email".
3. Your current registered email address will be displayed. If it is still correct, just tap "Cancel".
4. To use a different email address, enter your new address in the box provided (note that the @ symbol has already been provided for you) and tap "Save".
5. To send us your new address, please AutoUpdate (ActiveSync while connected to the Internet).
