Assign Epocrates To A Button On Your Mobile Device

By reassigning a button on your device to Epocrates, you can launch your Epocrates application immediately by pressing that button.

How?

Palm OS Users:

1. Go to the 'home' screen of your handheld device.
2. Tap on "Prefs" and look for "Buttons" (location varies depending on your device)
3. Tap on " Buttons".
4. Decide which button you would like to assign to Epocrates (e.g. "Memo Pad" or "To Do List") - tap on the 'triangle' next to the name ofthat button and select "Epocrates" from the list of applications.
5. Now, when you click on that button, it will launch your Epocrates application.

Pocket PC OS Users:

1. Select "Settings" from the Start Menu.
2. Select "Buttons".
3. Decide which button you would like to assign to Epocrates (e.g. "Record" or "Messaging") - tap on the button name in the list "Epocrates" from the list of applications.
4. Click on the 'down arrow' under "Assign a program:" and select your Epocrates product.
5. Tap "OK".
6. Now, when you click on that button, it will launch your Epocrates application.

Look Up Class Information For A Drug

If you want to know what class of drugs a particular drug belongs to, you can look up that information in the drug monograph.

How?

Mobile Software Users:

1. Within the Rx tab, select any drug.
2. Tap on the 'triangle' in the lower left corner to display the monograph menu.
3. Select "Other Info".
4. Scroll down to view "Class".

Note: To view all drugs in a class, return to the alphabetical drug list and tap on "By Class". Then drill down to a group of drugs.

Epocrates Rx Online Users :

1. Within the Drugs tab, select any drug.
2. Click on the "Other Info" tab to view "Class" information.

Note: To view all drugs in a class, click on "Class List " and then drill down to a group of drugs.
