Today, more than 300,000 healthcare professionals are participating in Epocrates Honors, and this year they collectively earned more than $6 million by sharing their opinions. Joining the Epocrates Honors market research panel gives you the opportunity to share your knowledge, express your clinical opinions through online market research studies, and receive compensation for your time.*

How?

Note: You do NOT have to use Epocrates handheld or mobile products in order to participate in Epocrates Honors.

1. Sign in to your Epocrates Account.
2. Confirm that your email address is correct. Your survey invitations will be sent to the email address in your Epocrates Account.
3. Next to My Epocrates Email Preferences, click Edit.
4. Under Epocrates Market Research Panel, check the box for Epocrates Web-Based Surveys.
5. If you would also like to take surveys on your PDA, select
   Mobile Market Research Surveys as well.
6. The Epocrates Honors team works with market research partners to provide you with convenient surveys, which take between 5 and 60 minutes to complete. You can participate as often as you would like.*
7. After you complete your first survey, you will receive your honorarium on a convenient Epocrates debit card.

*The amount you can earn depends on how many invitations you receive and respond to. Invitations to participate are based on occupation, specialty, and practice area. Surveys are subject to availability from our third party market research partners.

Change Your Epocrates Start Tab

All Epocrates mobile applications are set to start on the "my" tab. However, you can change this default to suit your needs.

How?

1. Within your Epocrates application, tap on the e symbol in the top left hand corner and then select Tools (Palm OS), or tap on Tools at the bottom of the screen (Pocket PC OS)
2. Select Preferences.
3. Select your Start Tab ("my", Rx, Dx, Lab, ID, Tables, or MedTools).
4. Tap OK.
5. The next time you launch your Epocrates application your selected start tab will appear first.
