Key Points
April 3 update: CDC recommends that everyone (incl non-ill, asymptomatic people) wear cloth face coverings (low-cost, home-made versions OK; NOT surgical masks or N95s) while maintaining 6-ft social distancing in public places where social distancing may be difficult (eg, grocery stores, pharmacies) esp in areas of significant community transmission. Other advice, incl investigational tx options (eg, hydroxychloroquine, remdesivir), PPE shortage advice, prevention/isolation measures continues to be updated.
