If imprint code is clearly legible, input entire or beginning portion of imprint code in the “Side 1” field.The “Side 2” field is optional, in case you’d like to further refine your search.

Click the “View Matches” button towards the bottom of your screen to view your Pill Identifier matches.

If the imprint code is illegible, unmatched, or results in too many matches, try entering only other characteristics (i.e., shape, color, score).

Helpful Tips

• If the imprint code is a logo, type "LOGO". If the imprint code starts with a logo, type "LOGO" or "LOGO and" followed by a space and the remainder of the code.
• If you are not able to successfully find a match, try selecting a similar color. For example, what appears to be a “pink” pill may be logged as “lavender".
• If the pill is dispensed in a package containing more than one type of pill and each has a different color (e.g., birth control pills), the color may be logged as multi-colored.
