mucositis prophylaxis, autologous HSCT-assoc.

[60 mcg/kg/dose IV qd x3 consecutive days before and x3 consecutive days after myelotoxic tx]

Info: for patients w/ hematologic malignancies receiving myelotoxic tx predicted to result in grade 3 or greater mucositis; give 3rd dose 24-48h before start of myelotoxic tx; give 4th dose on day of hematopoietic stem cell infusion completion, at least 7 days after 3rd dose
