Adult Dosing .

Dosage forms:  DR CAP: 95 mg

multiple sclerosis, relapsing forms

[190 mg PO bid]

Start: 95 mg PO bid x7 days, then 190 mg PO bid; Info: for patients w/ clinically isolated syndrome, relapsing-remitting disease, and active secondary progressive disease; may temporarily decr. dose to 95 mg PO bid if not tolerated, then resume usual dose of 190 mg PO bid w/in 4wk or consider D/C if usual dose still not tolerated; see pkg insert for tx considerations based on lymphopenia; consider giving w/ aspirin 30min before dose to reduce flushing; do not open cap
