Eating 2 green kiwifruits daily improves constipation, abdominal comfort

Consumption of 2 peeled green Kiwi fruits daily compared favorably to psyllium for improving symptoms in patients with chronic constipation in this crossover trial. Mean number of complete spontaneous bowel movements weekly increased by ≥1.5 with kiwifruit; GI comfort also significantly improved in constipated participants.
