FDA clears Epitomee, a drug-free weight management capsule

The ingestible medical device is designed to support weight management in adults with a BMI of 25–40 kg/m² alongside diet and exercise. Epitomee’s approval was supported by findings from the RESET study, which showed significantly greater weight reduction among individuals who used Epitomee compared with those in the control group.
