How effective is self-treatment for recurrent vertigo?

Patients with recurrent benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) who received a video on self-administration of the canalith repositioning maneuver (CRM) based on the type of BPPV experienced on recurrence were more likely to report vertigo resolution ≥2 years later than were participants given a video on self-administration of CRM based on the type of BPPV diagnosed on enrollment.
