Nurtec ODT tablets recalled due to child-resistant packaging flaw

Pfizer is recalling 4.2 million units of Nurtec ODT (rimegepant), sold as 75-mg, 8-unit dose blister packs, for failing to meet child-resistant requirements. The Consumer Product Safety Commission says current packaging poses "a risk of poisoning if the contents are swallowed by young children." Consumers are urged to immediately secure the recalled product out of the sight and reach of children and contact Pfizer for a free child-resistant pouch.
