Septic shock treatment: Fludrocortisone and hydrocortisone vs. hydrocortisone alone

In a retrospective cohort study of 88,275 patients hospitalized with septic shock, in-hospital mortality or d/c to hospice (primary outcome) occurred in 47.2% of patients treated with hydrocortisone-fludrocortisone vs. 50.8% in those treated with hydrocortisone alone.
