Dose: total qd dose = 60% total qd ifosfamide dose; give 33% total mesna dose at start of ifosfamide infusion (hour 0), then repeat at hours 4 and 8; Info: maintain ratio if ifosfamide dose adjusted

[IV/PO route]

Dose: total qd dose = 100% total qd ifosfamide dose; give 20% total mesna dose IV at start of ifosfamide infusion (hour 0), then 40% total mesna dose PO at hours 2 and 6; Info: maintain ratio if ifosfamide dose adjusted; injectable product may be diluted 1:1, 1:2, 1:10 or 1:100 in carbonated beverages or whole milk for PO use
