Uses .

[ acetaminophen ]

analgesic for reducing pain; antipyretic for reducing fever

[ dextromethorphan ]

antitussive for suppressing cough

Dosing .

4-5 yo

[ oral solution ]

Dose: 5 mL PO q4h prn; Max: 25 mL/24h; 75 mg/kg/day acetaminophen from all sources

6-11 yo

[ oral solution ]

Dose: 10 mL PO q4h prn; Max: 50 mL/24h; 75 mg/kg/day up to 4 g/day acetaminophen from all sources

renal considerations
