Serious Hypersensitivity/Anaphylaxis Reactions
fatal and serious hypersensitivity reactions, including anaphylaxis, have occurred; reactions have also occurred in patients who previously tolerated a ferumoxytol dose; initial symptoms may include hypotension, syncope, unresponsiveness, cardiac/cardiorespiratory arrest; only administer as IV infusion over at least 15min and only when personnel and tx for anaphylaxis and other hypersensitivity reactions immediately available; observe for hypersensitivity reaction signs/symptoms during and for at least 30min after infusion; monitor BP, HR during and after administration
