Uses .

[ acetaminophen ]

analgesic for reducing pain; antipyretic for reducing fever

[ ibuprofen ]

NSAID for reducing pain/inflammation, fever

Dosing .

12 yo and older

[ oral tablet ]

Dose: 2 tabs PO q8h prn; Max: 6 tabs/24h; 4 g/day acetaminophen from all sources

renal considerations

[ acetaminophen; ibuprofen ]

CrCl 30-60: consider alternatives, dose adjustment not possible w/ fixed-dose combo; CrCl <30: avoid use

HD/PD: avoid use

hepatic considerations
