CBD/THC oil reduces tics in severe Tourette syndrome

In a double-blind, cross-over trial involving 22 participants with severe Tourette syndrome, an oral oil containing 5 mg/mL each of THC and CBD (titrated over 6 weeks to a daily dose of 20 mg each of THC and CBD) led to a significant reduction in tics, as well as a reduction in obsessive-compulsive symptoms and anxiety. While no major adverse effects were reported, some participants experienced slowed mentation, memory lapses, and poor concentration.
