FDA advises consumers to avoid Alfia Weight Loss Capsules due to hidden ingredient

According to a recent public notification, FDA is advising consumers to avoid the purchase or use of Alfia Weight Loss Capsules due to lab-confirmed presence of sibutramine, known to significantly increase BP and/or heart rate in certain individuals and may present a significant risk for those with history of CAD, HF, arrhythmias, or stroke. Sibutramine may also cause life-threatening drug interactions.
